PILATES

This is a workout which is named after Joseph Hubertus Pilates. While we are doing Pilates exercises it is important to activate the deep layers of the trunk muscles (stabilization) and that we mobilize the spinal column. With these exercises we strengthen the body and influence the  mobility of body structures and body posture.

Pilates exercises are great for everyone, as today’s sedentary and fast lifestyle can lead to complaints about back pain, which is often the result of poor body posture. Regular Pilates training changes bad patterns in the kinetic memory, corrects changed spinal curves (signs of bad posture), and improves control of movement.
